TariffTel is now ISO 27001 certified
Topics
Your product data, protected to the highest standard.
We’ve achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, the internationally recognised gold standard for information security management, following a thorough audit carried out by independent assessors NQA.
This builds on our existing data security measures such as Cyber Essentials Plus and means the data you trust with us is now protected to independently audited, internationally recognised security standards.
The certification covers all of our work across the UK and the EU.
Why is ISO 27001 important in classification?
Classification runs on data.
When you use our expert-led classification platform, you’re sharing detailed product information. Materials, ingredients, supplier details, manufacturing specification, pricing. That’s sensitive data, and the amount businesses are being asked to share is only growing. Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) and Digital Product Passport (DPP) are being introduced, or on the near horizon, and require product data, captured and managed securely.
ISO 27001 is independent proof that we handle your data properly. Access controls, risk management and incident response are built into how we develop and run our systems. Part of the foundation.
What this means for you
Your data is in safe hands. Supplier information, product specifications and classification records, all managed to internationally recognised security standards
Accuracy and security in one place. 99.9% tariff code accuracy, now backed by the highest standard in data protection
Supports your compliance. If you are working towards AEO status or managing GDPR obligations, our certification helps; it gives you confidence in a trusted supplier
One less thing to worry about. If a customer, partner or auditor asks how your product data is managed, you have a clear answer
99.9% accurate. And Secure.
Fewer than 100,000 organisations worldwide hold ISO 27001. We’re proud to be one of them.
The work doesn’t stop here. The ISO framework demands continuous improvement to maintain the high standard we hold ourselves to.
Almost right isn’t good enough for your tariff codes. It’s not good enough for your data security either.
We hear constantly from our customers that they trust our platform and have peace of mind that their tariff codes will stand up to scrutiny. ISO 27001 adds another layer: the data that powers that accuracy is now protected to the highest international standard.
